Hernando Pride formed in the Summer of 2017, after the first LGBTQ+ Pride event in Hernando County history. In September of 2019 we became a non-profit to further our mission of creating a safe space and shared face for the LGBTQ+ community in Hernando County and its neighbors.

We are a part of the “vortex of good” that continually cycles in Brooksville / Spring Hill / Weeki Wachee, Florida. In addition to Pride each June, we also organize events and social outings throughout the year. If you’d like to become involved in Hernando Pride, our core planning group meets once a month.
